Welcome to the TBWG's on-line Library. In this section, you will have access to a host of recent publications submitted by our member agencies, research institutes, and private entities (such as Chambers of Commerce) that are directly relevant to the Canada-U.S. border. In addition, you will find links to related legislation and regulations on both sides of the border.
To post an on-line study in our Library, proposed links should be submitted to a TBWG Steering Committee member. As well, the Steering Committee periodically issues a general call for publications to the entire TBWG membership. Below, you will find the accepted criteria for posting publications in our Library.
It is our goal to build this section into one of the most complete on-line sources of information for the Canada-U.S. border.
Accepted Criteria for TBWG Web Postings
- Publications should either be focused on the border or should have content that is directly relevant to the border, including infrastructure planning, border financing and border processes. For example, publications might include an economic impact assessment of new border processes, an analysis of recent cross-border traffic and trade figures, a study of estimated border wait times and delays, an analysis of Canada-U.S. cross-border tourism (etc.)
- Documents should include links to related legislation and regulations.
- The on-line Library is not reserved for publications by TBWG member agencies exclusively. Studies related to the border by Chambers of Commerce, academic institutions, and other entities, both public and private, are welcome.
- Publications should be recent. A good benchmark is to post studies and papers that have been published since September 11, 2001.
